Unsure Whether You Need Career Coaching?
It is completely normal to wonder whether career coaching is the right next step. If you are on the fence, you can start by taking a short career coaching readiness quiz. It will help you decide whether coaching would be useful now, or whether you might benefit more from CV writing, job-search strategy or interview preparation first.

What My Career Coaching Services Offer
1. Clarity and Confidence in Your Career
Our coaching sessions focus on understanding your unique strengths, interests and motivations. Whether you are navigating a career change, seeking a promotion or stepping into the job market for the first time, I will help you make sense of where you are now and where you want to go – so your next moves feel deliberate, not reactive.
2. Holistic Career Assessment
Work does not sit in a vacuum. We look beyond job titles to consider work–life balance, financial goals, values and personal circumstances. This holistic view means your career choices support the rest of your life, rather than pulling against it.
3. Personalised Action Plans
Every coaching session ends with a clear, personalised action plan. You will leave knowing exactly what you need to do next, whether that is updating your CV, reaching out to specific people, exploring new roles or preparing for interviews. My goal is to keep you accountable, motivated and moving forward.
My RICH Career Coaching Formula
To keep career coaching structured and practical, I use a simple RICH formula:
Research
We start by analysing your current career situation, skills and industry. We explore realistic options, identify gaps and look at where opportunities are likely to come from. This gives us a grounded picture of what is possible, not just what is desirable.
Identity
Through focused questioning and a light SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), we clarify your professional identity: what you are good at, what matters to you, and how you want to be seen in the market. This feeds directly into your CV, LinkedIn profile and interview story.
Community
Success is rarely achieved in isolation. We look at your existing network and where you might want to build new connections – from former colleagues and managers to industry groups and hiring managers. I will help you work out who to speak to, how to approach them and how to maintain those relationships over time.
Habit Development
Once we have a clear direction, we translate it into simple routines and habits – weekly outreach, application targets, learning goals or reflection exercises. These habits turn ideas into progress and give you a way to measure how far you have come.
This method gives structure to our career coaching sessions and makes sure you leave with more than just “food for thought”.
Career Coaching for Graduates
Graduating and stepping into the professional world can be exciting, and overwhelming. If you are not sure which direction to take, graduate career coaching can help you move from uncertainty to a clearer, more confident plan.
In graduate-focused coaching, we will:
- Explore your interests, motivations and values, beyond just your degree subject.
- Discuss how the graduate job market works and where your strengths are likely to be most valued.
- Identify roles, sectors and paths that could be a good fit for you.
- Create a realistic strategy for building experience, even if you feel you have “no experience”.
We can also pair coaching with graduate CV writing, cover letter writing and LinkedIn profile writing services so that your documents and strategy support each other.
Who My Career Coaching Is For
My career coaching services are suitable for:
- Graduates and early-career professionals unsure about their next step.
- Mid-career professionals who feel stuck, undervalued or ready for a change.
- Senior managers and executives planning a strategic move or step-up.
- Career changers moving into new industries or functions.
- Professionals returning to work after a break, redundancy or relocation.
If your main need is stronger documents, you might start with my CV writing services. If mindset, strategy and direction are your bigger questions, then career coaching is usually the best place to begin.
How Career Coaching Works
Career coaching is collaborative and practical. Here is what a typical engagement looks like:

01
Initial Consultation.
We start with a free call to understand your situation, answer questions and confirm whether career coaching is the right fit. If another service would be more helpful, I will say so.

02
Deep-Dive Sessions.
Our first full session explores your career history, aspirations and challenges. We clarify your goals and begin to outline possible routes forward.

03
After each session, you receive a tailored coaching report summarising key insights, decisions and a bespoke action plan for the next 30–60 days.

04
Ongoing Support & Accountability.
Follow-up sessions focus on reviewing progress, solving new challenges and refining your strategy. You will have clear actions between sessions and support via email where appropriate.
Why Choose Me for Career Coaching?
CV writer and career coach in one.
I do not just talk about “mindset” in isolation. I help you connect your goals with your CV, LinkedIn profile, cover letters and job-search strategy so everything works together.
Structured but flexible approach.
The RICH framework provides structure, but every session is tailored to your needs. We often adjust direction mid-session if that is what will move you forward fastest.
Experience across roles and sectors.
I have supported clients in finance, tech, law, healthcare, education, logistics, public sector and more, from graduates to senior executives.
Empathy and honesty.
I have made my own mistakes in job searches and understand how stressful change can be. You will get straightforward, kind feedback and a safe space to think out loud.

Frequently Asked Questions About Career Coaching
Here are some common questions about my career coaching services. If you do not see your
question here, you are welcome to ask a different question.
What outcomes can I expect from coaching?
Most clients leave with a clear target role, a concise value proposition, and a practical 30–60–90-day action plan. Key outcomes typically include a better interview hit rate, stronger referrals, and higher-quality offers.
What is included in a typical coaching engagement?
A typical programme includes 3–6 sessions of 60–75 minutes, between-session assignments and feedback on your
positioning (headline, stories, outreach). You will receive templates, worksheets and a short written summary after each session.
How many sessions will I need?
Many clients achieve their initial goals in 4–6 sessions over 6–10 weeks. If you are working to a tighter timeline because of interviews or offers, we can adjust the pace. You can also choose to start with a single session and decide from there.
Do you provide homework or frameworks?
Yes. Expect short, practical tasks such as creating a target company list, drafting outreach messages, building a story bank or completing a weekly scorecard. Each session ends with 2–3 clear actions and success criteria.
How are sessions delivered and what is your availability?
Sessions are delivered online (video) during UK business hours (Europe/London). Early morning or early evening appointments can sometimes be arranged on request.
Who is career coaching for?
Career coaching is primarily aimed at mid–senior professionals and executives seeking clarity, momentum or a step-up (promotion, pivot, or pay rise). It is also suitable for graduates and returners who want help navigating the transition into or back into the job market.
How is coaching different from CV writing or mentoring?
Coaching is collaborative and action-focused: we build your strategy, mindset and execution plan together. CV writing provides a document; mentoring offers advice based on someone else’s path. We can integrate CV and LinkedIn deliverables into coaching if that would support your goals.
Can you help with interviews and salary negotiation?
Yes. As part of coaching or a dedicated interview preparation engagement, we can build STAR/CAR stories, practise role-specific questions and prepare scripts for salary and package discussions.
Will my employer sponsor coaching?
In some cases, yes. If you have access to an L&D or professional development budget, I can invoice your employer and align overall goals with your manager while keeping session content confidential (unless you ask for a summary to be shared).
What is the investment and do you offer a guarantee?
Packages typically start from around the cost of three sessions (for example, from £195 for a short series), with options to extend to 6 or more sessions depending on your goals. If you are not satisfied after the first full session, let me know within 24 hours and we can agree appropriate next steps, which may include additional support or a refund in line with my policy.
